Agape secondary school is a branch of King James Comprehensive school, mixed 'O' and 'A' level, both boys and girls.

The philosophy and experience of King James School is based on the reality that every pupil, student is a unique individual and they all have a right to good quality education, basic needs of learning and should access means to a comfortable life in one way or another.



         OBJECTIVES
§          To meet the national minimum education standards
§          To establish a model school suitable for both Ugandans and international students.
§          To construct good quality school structures on our premises comprising classroom blocks,
          Laboratories, library, teacher’s houses, IT suite, etc
§          To continue offering excellent and affordable education opportunities for all pupils and teachers.

KING JAMES COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL

King James school is a school which provides all the basic

learning environment to the students, whom the outstanding

ones are rewarded with new Toyota Hypsum and teachers

whose students excel are rewarded with motorcycles.


At the moment, the school is constructing new flats for which

will accomodate much more students.


Students are also sponsored for medical courses at the

University level. Students with good academic performances

but are unable to pay their own fees are also sponsered.

Several sports activities also took place, like the boys won the

MTN trophy and the girls won AIRTEL trophy.

THE AWARDED TROPHIES
The middle trophy was awarded to the girls as champions of Lira District Post primary football girls championship, in Feb 2011. The left trophy was awarded to the boys who emerged as the best team in rugby in Lira district in 2010, and the second left was awardedt to the girls as the runner up for the rising star tournament organised by Airtel in Kampala. The right trophy was awarded to the girls as champions for Byaruhanga's cup at Lira Intergrated school 2011.
